2016 CCA Conference Call for Papers
The Local Organizing Committee along with the executives of the Canadian Remote Sensing Society and the Canadian Cartographic Association would like to invite you to the 37th Canadian Symposium on Remote Sensing and the 41st Canadian Cartographic Association Conference, to be jointly held at the Richardson College for the Environment at the University of Winnipeg, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, from June 7-9, 2016. This is the first open call for abstracts.
This year’s conference theme “Imagery to Map” underscores the importance the role that remote sensing plays in the generation of map content. The event will be organized to encourage presentations and discussion on the role of satellite imagery and map production can play in the analysis of our planet. The 37th CSRS will include General Sessions and Special Sessions, building on the symposium theme “Imagery to Map” that brings together different applications and technologies to showcase the role satellite imaging and map production has on the improved understanding of our environment and society.
Abstracts are invited in all areas of remote sensing and related fields, including but not limited to the following General Session Topics:
