This conference will explore community mapping and place making through maps, organised by the Canadian Cartographic Association (CCA). Anyone interested in maps / cartography is welcome to attend; it is a gathering of practitioners, educators, researchers from public and private sectors and the community at large. Applications range from traditional topographic and thematic mapping to online viewers and applications such as Google Earth / Maps, as well as mobile apps on hand-held devices. Mapping today is for everyone.
