Student Housing at Carleton University is available for those looking for an affordable on-campus stay for $93/night. Accommodations begin on May 20, 2025, so if you plan to arrive in Ottawa earlier, you will need to arrange alternate lodging until that date.
Guests check in after 3 PM at the Residence Reception Desk, located at the end of the 2nd floor of Teraanga Commons. The Desk is open from 7 AM – 11 PM. The rooms are located in Frontenac House.

The cafeteria is located on the 3rd Floor of Terringa Commons, which can be access from the street side of the building.
If you require meals outside of what has been pre-purchased you can purchase them at the cafeteria directly with debit/credit cards. This option is available to all attendees.
A block of rooms has been reserved at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Ottawa Downtown at a special group rate of $279/night plus taxes and fees. To take advantage of this rate, reservations must be made by March 20, 2025. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Ottawa, with easy access to dining, attractions, and transit options.
For those staying at the DoubleTree, getting to Carleton University is simple via public transit. The O-Train Line 2 (Trillium Line) provides direct service to Carleton Station, just a short walk from campus buildings. Alternatively, OC Transpo bus routes also serve the university.
